为什么绝大数43.230.115.X服务器还使用机械硬盘,而不选固态硬盘呢?

如今,固态硬盘基本成为了标配,机械硬盘相比固态硬盘在读写速度在存在了性能瓶颈,已经不是不争的事实,固态硬盘替代机械硬盘指日可待。对面目前的新装机用户,基本都是使用单块固态硬盘,而对容量要求较高的用户则会考虑固态+机械双硬盘方案。但是在服务器中,依然使用着机械硬盘,少数用户才会考虑固态硬盘,那么为什么绝大数服务器还使用机械硬盘,而不选固态硬盘呢?

固态硬盘与机械硬盘之争

原因一:硬盘容量

我们知道,虽然固态硬盘在速度上能够甩机械硬盘几条街,突破了性能的瓶颈,但是相同价位上固态硬盘的容量不如机械硬盘,目前主流固态硬盘容量才120G、240G,虽然固态硬盘也有大容量的,但是价格十分昂贵。而服务器存储都是重要的海量数据,对硬盘容量有着较高的要求,一般租用服务器的机械硬盘单块容量可以达到2TB以上,主流大容量服务器机械硬盘达到了10TB左右,甚至更大容量。

原因二:价格差异

普通的固态硬盘相比机械硬盘要贵很多,虽然固态厂家也推出了企业级固态硬盘,但是价格上更贵。如果服务器全都采用固态硬盘,那么成本会十分高,这是一般企业难以负担的。

原因三:数据的安全性

众所周知,服务器中的数据是无价的,用行内话来说:“硬盘有价,数据无价”,如果数据丢失,会造成难以估量的损失。我们知道,机械硬盘如果损坏了,我们可以通过专业数据恢复来找回重要数据。但由于固态硬盘是芯片级存储,如果硬盘损坏数据丢失,数据将难以恢复。除了容量而言,这也体现了机械硬盘的最大优势。

总结:

从容量、成本、安全性角度来看,目前的机械硬盘无疑是服务器领域的绝对主流。但是目前已经有不少服务器采用了固态+机械硬盘方案,与家用电脑一样,固态硬盘作为系统盘,而机械硬盘作为存储,以保障速度与容量、安全性。
